'FulcrumPlateau began with a simple dream: to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. Founded by the Brown family in 1990, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run shop with recipes passed down through generations.

Olivia Brown, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making during travels across Italy, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. After returning to the UK, they were determined to recreate the magic of true Italian pizza, using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.

What began as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has grown into a cherished local institution, yet our commitment to quality and authenticity has never wavered. We still rely on wood-fired oven techniques, prepare our dough fresh daily, and source the best ingredients available.

Today, 'FulcrumPlateau remains family-owned and operated, with the second generation of the Brown family now leading our devoted team. While we’ve adopted some modern innovations, the essence of our business remains the same: creating delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
